Yan Tual is a French actor known for his portrayal of Father Alexandre Ferigault in the Outlander television series.[1]
Career[]
Yan Tual is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University MFA Acting Program, in residency at Cleveland Play House.[2] Being trilingual in French, English & Spanish, Yan has studied and performed internationally in both Europe and the Americas.
Film[]
Yan made his film debut on Dany Boon's La Ch'tite Famille (2018).[3] In 2019 he will star as co-lead character Fabrice in the upcoming French feature film Plein la vue, directed by Philippe Lyon.
Television[]
On TV Yan is known to international audiences for his portrayal of Father Alexandre Ferigault in the Starz TV series, Outlander. He is known to Spanish and South American audiences for his recurring role of Russian mob boss Kyril Konchalovsky in the Spanish daytime drama Servir y proteger (2019). To French audiences he is known for his roles of Russian soldier Dimitri in the blackpills' mini-series Fearless (2017) directed by Sébastien Drouin, and Captain Aubert in the French TV series Section de recherches (2018).
Theatre[]
Yan made his stage debut in Retour de Guerre & Bilora directed by Jean-Louis Benoît, before performing in a number of plays at Cleveland Play House. Most notable credits include The Winter’s Tale directed by Geoff Bullen and The Life of Galileo directed by Michael D. Edwards.[4]
