Wentworth Prison is the fifteenth episode of Season One of the Outlander television series.
Summary[]
Jamie awaits his death sentence at Wentworth Prison, while Claire and the Highlanders search for a rescue plan. When Jamie is visited by Black Jack, he realizes there is a fate worse than death.
Plot[]
Jamie is saved from the hangman's noose by the unexpected arrival of Black Jack Randall. The sadistic Randall wants Jamie to submit to him and brutalizes him in the process. Claire meanwhile, learns that Jamie has been given a temporary stay of execution but is unable to obtain permission to visit him. She does learn of an opportunity to get into the prison and makes her way to Jamie's cell where she is caught by Randall. Faced with little choice, Jamie agrees to submit to Randall's will if he sets Claire free.
