There is no chemistry between Brianna and Roger. Exactly when did she decide that she was “in love” with him, and why? He is much older than Brianna and I think he is dull and very unattractive. In Boston she was spirited, interesting and fun. Roger already seems like a stodgy old man. Bad casting.
I definitely feel the love more in the books than the TV series... I love Rik Rankin but, I don't think the chemistry test told the full story of Sophie and Rik together... Definitely not the chemistry Sam and Cait have. Now that's a relationship I can get behind--and I have. Love Jamie and Claire in the book and on screen!
I completely AGREE!!! their love story seemed rushed, last they spoke he was so aggressive, thats why she left, because he made her uncomfortable, a part of me, hoped she wouldve married John, im not feeling their chemistry as actors or characters for that matter, even Jamie is annoyed with him, at the end in season 4, like the fact he had to think about wanting to be with her, like why think?? If you claim you love her, im sure it was better interpreted in the book with more context, but just not feeling this couple at all
Hi, Azfan1-- One suggestion, if you switch ON the Close Caption, you will understand all the characters including Roger very clearly. It may be annoying at first but you get used to it and get a deeper understanding of the characters. I hope this helps.
