Rob Higgins is the son of Amy McCallum Higgins and Bobby Higgins.
Personal History[]
Rob's mother was Amy McCallum Higgins, a widow and a mother of two boys, Aiden and Orrie. After the death of her first husband, she marries Bobby Higgins a British soldier who was outcast from society after being involved in the Boston Massacre and branded with an "M" on his cheek. The pair marry in late 1776 and concieve Rob within a year or so.

Rob is born in 1778 or 1779, on Fraser's Ridge. He was likely named after his father. By mid-1779, he is teething.
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone[]
Tragically, when Rob is a toddler, his mother is mauled by a bear. He and his brothers are nearby during the attack, and sob as she dies a few minutes later. Rob is later taken back to the house by his stepfather. Rob and his brothers begin spending more time with other residents of the Ridge, as women often stop by to bring the family cooked meals or help Bobby mind Rob and his older brothers. He befriends Amanda MacKenzie. Rob is later present at he wedding of his stepfather to Silvia Hardman, who has three daughters herself. His new stepsister, Chastity, kisses him at the wedding, much to the amusement of all present.
