Dr. Hebdy is a local Philadelphia doctor.
Personal History[]
Not much is known of Dr. Hebdy's early life. He trained as a doctor at some point, and is living and working in Philadelphia in the summer of 1777. Claire considers him to be a charlatan and over-reliant on bleeding.

In June 1777, Harold Grey has an exercise-induced asthmatic attack in the middle of the street. Claire immediately begins giving Hal emergency medical attention in front of a growing crowd of onlookers. Claire inwardly hopes to get Hal to safety before Dr. Hebdy emerges from his nearby surgery, fearing the "quack" will interfere with her attempts to treat Hal.
To Claire's dismay, an onlooker runs for Dr. Hebdy. He reaches the crowd just as Claire departs with Hal.
