Production Notes[]
- Executive Producer Maril Davis and Costumer Designer Trisha Briggar notes that they went for a "naturalistic approach" when it came to styling Brianna's clothing on her return to the 20th century (the 1980s to be precise). Rather than the stereotypical 1980s pieces like "shoulder pads, big hair and neon clothes", they wanted clothing to be styled in context of the rural Scottish Highlands "where people are not very up to date with fashion". Fiona's 1980s style was intentionally styled to create a sharp contrast to Brianna's 1980s style by showing her as more traditional and old-fashioned compared to Brianna's "bold colours and more fitted silhouette."[1]
- Sophie Skelton was enthusiastic about Brianna sporting bangs in the 1980s, commenting, "This season is Brianna's world taking a 180 flip, so she's bound to have spent some time recalibrating herself all over again and experimenting. It's such a human thing to want to change your whole 'vibe' and look when there's a big shift in your life."[1]
Trivia[]
- This is the first time we see Brianna back in the 20th century since the Season Four episode, "Savages". As for Roger, it is the first time we see him back in the 20th century since "Down the Rabbit Hole".
- The car Roger & Brianna drives is either a Ford Granada or Ford Cortina (to be confirmed). The license plate of the car Roger & Brianna drives reads either HNJ151T or HNJI5IT.
