Agree! I liked this episode too. Young William was brilliantly portrayed!

I liked this episode. I kept waiting for it to go to Bri and start that procedure to come but , it was nice Jamie and Willy got so much time together I guess.

The show is getting batter and better and all the little twists that are not from the book make it even better........I did wonder when I read B4 how come William did not recognize Mac the groom at all - it has been 5-6 yrs since Mac left Helwater and William was 6 yrs old, not a toddler.......

The actor (not sure what his name is) actually does look like Sam.....great job on that front which I know is difficult..........and great acting on that young boy's part..............not sure what was so difficult in making John the handsome fair man with blond hair that he is in the book,.,,,not that the long dark hair is David Berry's real hair.........

The promo showed Bree talking to some someone that there would be a fire......now if that were Jenny and Ian....as I cannot think of who that may be, then Bree telling them where she is from and by association where Claire is from, will be a big departure from the book.......

Re: Lord John not being blond, I imagine it has to do, at least in part, with David Berry's very expressive, very dark eyebrows... They actually did have him wear a blond wig in episode 303 for his first couple of scenes – if you look closely you can see it when he and Jamie are talking out on the moor, and even more so in the official stills.

I guess the eyebrows would be a problem.........Oliver Finnegan, who played Williie was awesome, I added the actor to the list, but cannot add him under Clark Butler on the William Ransom page.

I have to say I was fully overwhelmed of this episode! I love it pretty much. Have already seen twice till yet. I wondered how the meeting of Lord John and Murtagh would be after Ardsmuir and I loved it. Thank God for the measles and the following soul striptease of Lord John and Claire. Remarkably acted of both of them. And finally the interacting between Jamie and Willie! I was fully thrilled about the clarification of not looking back in Helwater and of course the encounter with the Cherokee. Sam Heughan grows deeper and deeper into Jamie! Love to watch such brilliant acting!!! By the way the romantic ring sequence at the end made the circle full. I love how the writers of the show knitted the storylines and am fully curious about Brianna's journey!😍

Well that's what I love about communicating with all of you! My feelings exactly ALL! I so looked forward to this episode when Jamie could finally see his young son Willie. Children listen and hear more than adults give them credit for. William remembered Mac. Jamie's deep Scottish voice is hard to forget, especially when he speaks Gaelic! You could see it on Willie's face when Jamie spoke to the horses walking past the paddock. I was so glad to see William look back to Jamie while leaving. Jamie actually took a step forward to go to him as William did when Jamie left him at Hellwater. It was wonderful to see them together again. Great acting between them. Lord John? Well what can I say. Sick or not, blonde or not he looked mighty fine laying in Jamie's bed and the confession between he and Claire was brilliant. Well done, bravo! When David cracks that partial grin he just looks so vulnerable and deeply sad. I can't imagine loving someone for so long and not having that same feeling returned. Claire was right when she asked him why he tortures himself seeing Jamie but it's like a moth to a flame. He can't help himself. I couldn't believe when he told Claire about Jamie offering himself to him in return for taking care of his son! I wonder if Claire will reveal that tidbit to Jamie? The little twists are marvelously done.

I would like to see some private time between Murtagh and Jamie so he can fill in the cracks but time is precious in the making. They just spoke of it as "secrets."

My heart is about to burst watching the scenes of stolen private time between Claire and Jamie. These actors are superb! Is there such a man in real life like James Alexander Malcolm McKenzie Fraser? Besides you Dave! LOL The ring meant the world to Claire and it proves that the small things in life matter! The inscription took me right back to Lallybroch when it was in ruin and Claire sat on the front stoop and saw Jamie in his glory standing in the cove just under the Fraser coat of arms.

"Then let amorous kisses dwell...……...A thousand and a hundred score, A hundred and a thousand more." I had to swallow my heart back down before I choked on it. Just having someone look at me the way he does Claire would make life complete! Enough swooning.

This season is getting better and better and I am so grateful to be able to watch and blather on to you all knowing you love it as much as I. It leaves you wanting more. I too watch each episode several times between the next episode.

Maria. Martina and others, what this book illustrates so well and what your comments reflect is that "what the worlds needs now" and what people hunger for the most, "is love sweet love." We have lost it's TRUE meaning, it is not about the exotic that arouses up between us but the deep and total gift of the self to another, without demand or expectation of anything in return that we desire. When you love like that, selflessly, only then will you truly be loved selflessly in return. True love begets true love. And please ladies, don't be fooled to think that men don't feel as you do. Your desires to be loved in the same manner as portrayed by Jamie and Claire is inherent in guys too. The struggle for both men and women is that real love is SELFLESS, free of expectations and Jamie epitomizes that. Always, always, always about the other, ever giving and never about expectation. Oh and Marie, one last thought, in all honesty and candor, I don't think I am so unique, there are many men who think and feel as I do, I am just able to express it easily, which some men and for that matter some women too, to express it without reservation, never concerned that it might be a challenge to my manliness. I am both a man and a lover, a complete package and i am unashamed of that fact but I also know that I am NOT unique. 😉
